Welcome to The Kiskeya Kids Series, let’s meet the Pierre-Louis family.
Lilly
Lilanne Elsie Pierre-Louis is her real name, but everyone calls her Lilly. She is a second grader who loves being outdoors, singing and painting.
Tee-Joe
Nicholas Joseph Pierre-Louis is his real name, but everyone calls him Tee-Joe. He is in the first grade; his favorite sports are baseball and pestering his sister Lilly.
Grand-mère Elsie
Marie Linette Elsie Pierre-Louis is her real name, but everyone calls her Grand-mère Elsie. She is Tee-Joe and Lilly’s grandmother. When she not whipping something up in the kitchen or breaking up fights between Tee-Joe and Lilly, she’s telling stories about her homeland, Haïti and the faithfulness of God.
The entire family, including Mom, Dad and Mimi their cat, all live together at 1804 Kiskeya Way in Brooklyn, New York. Something is always going on there, pull up a chair I bet Grand-mère Elsie has another story.
